Consider packing at least one vegan lunch per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Buy locally.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>   Buying food locally not only supports the community but also it reduces the carbon footprint of the food by cutting down on the distance its shipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ditch the idea of \u201ckid food\u201d&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>   The idea that children should eat differently than their parents has meant that kids eat more processed food and less healthy fresh produce. \u201cKid food\u201d like Lunchables is a marketing ploy that encourages unhealthy eating. Last year, a&nbsp;study found that students&nbsp;who eat the same foods as their parents tend to have a heather diet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Conscience over Convenience.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>   Although it may seem easy to buy pre-packaged snacks and pre-made lunches, do the environment a favor and pack your lunch in your own container.
