They bounced back with a win vs Mandarin. The Sharks, over their next 16 games of the season, had some high moments and some lows. The\u00a0Sharks lost a long road game in overtime to Bradford, had multiple single digit losses, and games where they were\u00a0competitive,\u00a0but their\u00a0inexperience was evident.\u00a0That being said, the\u00a0girls\u00a0have also\u00a0had some bright spots such as finishing\u00a0second\u00a0in a Christmas\u00a0tournament\u00a0in St.\u00a0Petersburg, a key win against a higher ranked district opponent in St. Augustine, and the\u00a0further development\u00a0of\u00a0key talent under the watchful eye of the coaching staff.\u00a0 \u00a0 The girls have most recently gotten hot and are\u00a0currently riding on a three-game win streak. With the girls rapidly rising in the rankings and coming together as a team, they are making a strong push for a deep run in the post-season.\u00a0With a combination of a young backcourt in Sophomores Paige\u00a0Hulihan and Reeghan\u00a0Mayer, the valued experience of Sophia Fraga, Senior, and talent in the front court provided by sharpshooting of\u00a0Junior Olivia Lee, the scrappy Junior Lauren Bing, the scoring provided by the Balser sisters in\u00a0Freshman Tori Balser and Junior Trish Balser,\u00a0the\u00a0Sharks have appeared to have turned things around and gotten back to their traditional winning ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0\u00a0 After starting off the season with a dominating performance over Ed White where they won 59-12, the Sharks quickly dropped their next three games to good programs in Bolles, Orange Park, and St. Augustine.
