   The year 2020 was an exceedingly challenging time for the entire world where anything considered normal and routine was stripped away. The Covid-19 pandemic effected the entire world in a multitude of ways including economically, physical health, mental health and countless more ways. With the new year the world can feel optimistic with the success of clinical trials of vaccines and hope for some normality to return, and that includes Hollywood and movies. The release of several blockbusters has been pushed back to this year and on top of the films that were already scheduled to release, one can expect a big year for movies in 2021.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Blockbusters are not only\u00a0hitting the theaters this\u00a0year\u00a0but also are coming directly into your home\u00a0via streaming services<\/strong>. This could drastically\u00a0affect\u00a0the movie watching\u00a0experience\u00a0as we know it. The most\u00a0anticipated\u00a0movies of this year are a mixed bag of both first appearing on streaming services and the\u00a0traditional\u00a0way\u00a0of appearing in theaters first.\u00a0This year is certainly a big year for Marvel<\/strong> fans as many comic book movies will make an\u00a0appearance\u00a0on the silver screen,\u00a0but the most\u00a0anticipated\u00a0for this year is Spider-Man 3<\/strong>.\u00a0There are tons of rumors flying around as multiple actors who have played Spider-Man in the past are thought to be coming back such as:\u00a0Andrew Garfield, Toby Maguire, and\u00a0possibly the\u00a0first live action interpretation of\u00a0Miles Morales.\u00a0The movie is set to release in theaters and a TBD date sometime in 2021.\u00a0\u201cJudas and the Black\u00a0Messiah<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0starring Daniel\u00a0Kaluuya\u00a0and Lakeith Stanfield\u00a0is\u00a0period\u00a0piece\u00a0that\u00a0focuses on the Black Panther movement during the 1960s in Illinois. The\u00a0movie\u00a0is about\u00a0an\u00a0FBI informant trying to disrupt\u00a0the Black Panther\u2019s efforts for the Civil Right Movement.\u00a0No\u00a0Time to Die<\/strong> is the\u00a0newest\u00a0in the\u00a0long line\u00a0of the James Bond films.\u00a0Daniel Craig will return for his fifth Bond film and he said\u00a0it would\u00a0be his last.\u00a0Expectations\u00a0for this movie are\u00a0extremely high as Daniel Craig is considered one of the greatest\u00a0in\u00a0Bond film history.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0 With\u00a0terrific\u00a0movies coming out\u00a0on the big screen the bar is set high for the movies appearing on a\u00a0streaming service\u00a0first.\u00a0An 80s\u00a0classical gets a much needed and\u00a0anticipated\u00a0sequel in\u00a0\u201cComing 2 America<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0along with the original cast returning.\u00a0The\u00a0goofy\u00a0cast of Eddie Murphy and company\u00a0are set to be seen on the Amazon Prime steaming service March 5\u00a0for the release. The\u00a0audience\u00a0should expect a lot of laughs from this upcoming film as they return to\u00a0New York\u00a0find the long-lost son of\u00a0the price (Eddie Murphy\u2019s character).\u00a0HBO is continuing the theme of revamping older films or tv shows into modern\u00a0films.\u00a0\u201cThe Many Saints of Newark<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0will serve as a prequel to the beloved hit tv series of the Sopranos.\u00a0The Many Saints of Newark gives insight into the early days of the legendary Tony Soprano\u00a0and the 1967 race riots between\u00a0Italian Americans\u00a0and African American.\u00a0The Gandolfini legacy will continue with the\u00a0son of the late James Gandolfini in Michael Gandolfini picking up where his father left off.
