In the 106-pound weight class, junior, Enrique Santos received a first-round bye in the championship bracket, he then advanced to the second round, where Santos lost by fall. He finished the tournament with a 2-2 record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At 113 pounds, junior, Dashiell Hilbert also had a first-round bye in the championship bracket. Hilbert lost by fall in the second round, wrapping up his day with a 2-2 record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the 120-pound class, sophomore, Cash Trujillo advanced with a first-round bye and secured a 2-1 decision victory in his first match. In the third round, Trujillo suffered a first-period pin, ending his tournament with a 2-2 record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At 132 pounds, senior, Poulo Milea lost in the first round and finished the day with a 2-2 record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the 138-pound division, junior, Daniel De Almeida pinned his first opponent at 4:29 and secured another pin in the second round at 3:12. However, he fell in the next round, wrapping the tournament up a 2-2 record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At 144 pounds, senior, Brody Hines opened with a dominant 15-4 victory but fell short in the next round, losing by pin. He finished with a 2-2 record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the 157-pound class, junior, Baxly Hines earned a strong pin at 4:28 to advance to the third round but ultimately lost by pin, ending the tournament with a 3-2 record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At 165 pounds, junior, Emmett Hoffmann received a first-round bye and dominated his second-round opponent with a 10-1 victory. However, he lost by pin in the third round, finishing with a 4-2 record and looking forward to next year\u2019s Flagler Rotary Invitational. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, in the 215-pound weight class, junior, Talan Babin started strong with an 8-3 win in the first round. He followed it up with a 15-0 technical fall victory in the second round and a 9-3 win in the third. His run ended in a close fourth-round match, where he lost 8-7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall, the Sharks put on a strong performance, gaining valuable experience and proving their competitiveness on the mat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
