Ponte Vedra High School (PVHS) dominated another game against Fleming Island High School (FIHS) on Jan. 8th<\/sup>. The Sharks left nothing to chance with a score of 50-35. This is PVHS\u2019 sixth consecutive win against FIHS over the past five seasons, and this game was no exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe played amazing defense and made the right passes to win. Everyone contributed to the game, and we all made impactful plays.\u201d<\/p>chloe spencer-gardner (10)<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n The Sharks\u2019 defense never let up, keeping The Eagles under nine points per quarter, the first three quarters. Ponte Vedra\u2019s victory was a true team victory, with many having solid performances. Sophomores, Chloe Spencer-Gardener and Jocelyn Hoffman both posted ten plus points. PVHS also had double the number of assists as the Golden Eagles, showing how they came together as a team for the win. Spencer-Gardener says, \u201cWe played amazing defense and made the right passes to win. Everyone contributed to the game, and we all made impactful plays.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Sharks have been on a roll<\/a> lately: they have won seven of their last eight games. That has provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.\u00a0 Over those past eight games, PVHS has averaged 55.8 points per game, really showing their dominance as a team.
