The Ponte Vedra High School girls’ soccer team devoured opponent, Gainesville High School, 9-1 in their most recent playoffs game. The lady sharks dealt a strong offense against their challengers to a point of mercy, within the first 5 minutes of the game the girls scored, then proceeded to score 3 more goals in 4 minutes, all within the 1st quarter. Sophomore, Ella Shapiro and junior, Tamlyn Parks carried the game scoring 2 points each, with other teammates, Maggie Mace, Ashley Noon, Kaylan Heinz, Molly Schmach, and Abbey Mulhall scoring 1 point each. At this rate, the girls are steamrolling their way into states.
