PVHS Ocean of Sound Band Shines at FFCC Tocoi Creek Competition

The Ponte Vedra High School (PVHS) Ocean of Sound competed at the FFCC outdoor marching band competition at Tocoi Creek High School in St. Augustine, Florida. The Ocean of Sound resides in the 3A division in FFCC competition and placed first at the competition in the class with a score of 75.725. The score also earned the Ocean of Sound second place overall at the event. The band that placed first overall was Fleming Island High School’s marching band which ended up with a score of 77.050. The Ocean of sound also placed second in class 3A for percussion with a score of 7.25, second in color guard in class 3A with a score of 7.375, first overall in all classes in music and general effect with scores of 22.725 in music and 23.325 in general effect. This is certainly a great start to the marching season for PVHS’s Ocean of Sound.
