The Ponte Vedra High School (PVHS) Speech and Debate Team competed at the Florida Speech
and Debate Initiative Statewide Tournament on December 6 and 7. Teams from across the state
competed to place and qualify for the coveted spots at the state tournament. Senior Aidan Killian
and sophomore Yoyo Qu placed first at this tournament and took home the gold. In addition,
sophomore Miguel Komaroff, freshman Catherine Mitchell, and freshman Leo Rao were
semifinalists. The following students represented PVHS in their respective categories:
