On Mar. 3, Ponte Vedra High School (PVHS) lost to Episcopal School of Jacksonville (ESJ) with a score of 12-7. The Sharks moved past the loss and have won every other game so far this month. They are hoping to continue the streak through the season including their game on Mar. 27 against American Heritage High School.
On Mar. 6, PVHS beat Cambridge High School (CHS) with a score of 10-6. Although CHS scored first, it was the only goal they allowed that quarter. They stayed strong on offense and lead 8-3 at halftime. Their team’s chemistry was really good, and the win was clearly due to great teamwork and communication.

On Mar. 11, the Sharks won against Bartram Trail High School (BTHS) Bears with a score of 15-2. PVHS dominated the game with 15 goals and forced a lot of turnovers, leaving no room for the Bears to score. This game brought their record to 7-2, an amazing record for the season so far. Sophomore, Ila Crowe commented, “This was a fun game and I’m very excited about the rest of the season.”
On Mar. 23, PVHS won against Creekside High School (CHS) with a score of 20-1. With 14.7 average goals per game, this score did not disappoint. On the Knights’ home turf, the Sharks came and conquered. The team was in high spirits due to the three-game winning streak. The Sharks recent success really present a challenge to the teams playing them next. The Sharks now have a record of 8-2 and play three teams on the week of Mar. 29.
