On Jan. 29, the Sharks boys wrestling team traveled to Flagler Palm Coast for the Flagler Rotary Tournament. The Sharks matched up against Deltona, losing 42-27, and later against Deland by a tally of 42-35. Seniors, Rett Maritato and Cyrus Ferraro, were both bright spots for the squad as they both went 2-0 in the tournament. They have one more matchup against Clay on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6 before post season play begins. On the girls side, they only have the state championships left, as they are set to compete on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14 at Dr. Phillips in Orlando.
