The Ponte Vedra High School girls soccer team took their third loss of the season to a really impressive 11-0 Bartram Trail. The Sharks held their ground a majority of the game with the score being 0-0 at halftime. Bartram scored in the second half with little time remaining, which was just enough to give them the edge to victory. Despite the loss, the Sharks almost pulled off a big win. Senior captain Molly Schmachtenberger explains “This is nothing to hang our heads about, I would actually want to play them again.” Molly and the Sharks now have some fire and focus going into their next game against the Bishop Kenny Crusaders at Bishop Kenny. They are looking to bring their winning record into double digits wins with a potential record of 10-3.
