Sharks Swim Finishes Strong

By Foster Keebaugh

Progressing through the season the Ponte Vedra Sharks have gone 5-2 losing to only Fletcher High School and Bartram Trail High School. The Sharks are captained by senior, Hugh Williams and Dean Batelli. Coming off of an average season last year going 5-3, coach Kyle Barry, who was only recently promoted, hopes to bring home the state title this year. Captain Batelli said, “swimming has taught me that success comes from hard work, not just talent. Every lap, no matter how challenging, is progress. When things get hard, that’s when you grow stronger. Keep swimming, keep pushing, and trust all your effort will pay off.”
