The Ponte Vedra High School (PVHS) MUN and World Affairs Club competed at the local Academic World Quest competition Feb. 13. Out of 46 teams, from 19 area high schools, in 4 area counties PVHS had two teams that placed first and third. The winning team will be representing the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville and PVHS at the national competition later this Spring in Washington DC. The winning team consisted of 4 PVHS students, Star Binyamin, Aidan Killian, Arianna Rahmathulla, and Ella York. And the third-place team had four more students from PVHS, Cecilia Connor, Victoria Joseph, Audrey Riegert-Johnson, and Emlynn Rossiya.
