The second quarter was very slow with only the Wildcats scoring a goal. The halftime score was 2-2. The next matchup for the Sharks was the Creekside High School Knights. The first quarter was under way and it didn’t take the Sharks long to score. Six goals were scored in the first quarter for the Sharks. The second quarter was more of the same, as the Sharks offense was still on fire. At halftime the score as 10-3 in favor of the Sharks. In the second half the Sharks defense was a huge factor as they only allowed one goal all half. The final score was 18-4, and the Sharks move to 2-0 on the season. Senior goalie, Jackson Hume had a huge game only allowing four goals.

The Sharks next opponent traveled all the way from Georgia. Starr’s Mill High School Panthers had to take a hike down to Ponte Vedra High School for this game. The game started with a bang for the Sharks as they scored 6 goals compared to the Panthers 1. The rest of the game was a pretty slow-paced game. The panthers didn’t score a single goal the rest of the game, and the Sharks scored 7 goals in the final 3 quarters. The Sharks move to 3-0, credit to Hume’s big game at goalie. Senior team manager, Anthony Meyers said, “We are off to a great start and we look to keep this chemistry for a long time.”
