Girls Lacrosse Lengthens Win Streak

By Jake Hilley

As the triumphant season continues, Ponte Vedra High School lacrosse continues to wow and amaze as they lock in for a pivotal week. Ranking tenth in Florida and twenty-ninth nationally, the 7-3 Sharks continue to impress as they prepare for Lake Highland Prep and Bartram High School. Of their past 5 games, Ponte Vedra has won 4 of them by 7 or more goals, and 3 of those by 14 or more. Senior Attacks Addy Paul and Lamb Toole are primed and ready to go as another multiple score game is more than needed against such stiff competition. Sophomore phenom, Gracie Madson has been doing her part as well coming off of her 2 goal performance against Tocoi Creek High School. “These may be 2 very challenging opponents this week, but I have full confidence in my team and our coaches to right the ship and get to W’s in the win column”, says senior, Ashley Albert.

The Bartram game specifically seems to be the talk of the town as both the Ponte Vedra and Bartram local youth club lacrosse teams were in attendance, as well as numerous rowdy students. With or without the outside pressure, the Ponte Vedra, Bartram rivalry is alive and well and both communities will be reminded of that on April second.
