Quote of the Week – 9/11/20

“The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire, the size of your dream, and how you handle disappointment along the way.”

Robert Kiyosaki

This quote was written by Robert Kiyosaki a Japanese American ex-marine and businessman from the seventies through the nineties. This quote was chosen for this week because when you break it down it has key components towards success in not only business but life as well. The first component to the size of your success is the strength of your desire, you can only hope to be successful in anything if your desire to achieve your goal is above all others. It is impossible for the human mind to multi-task so you should always keep an organized plan and know what the most important uses of your time in order are to be successful.

The second part states that success is measured by the size of your dream as well. In order to be successful, you should always shoot for the stars and never be afraid to make a goal too big. If you do that than the more likely you are to be motivated to keep working and to always keep learning. Finally, the last part of the quote states that the size of your success is also measured by how you handle disappointment along the way. This is a very important part to this quote and success itself, your mistakes along the way in your path to success shouldn’t be viewed as only bad but as learning experiences so they don’t happen again. All these pieces together are great tips and information for people who want to be successful in anything whether that be sports, school, work, or life itself.
