     The Sharks boys’ basketball team is ready to start preparing for the 2020-2021 season after having tryouts this past week. The team is very experienced now with all five of their starters returning. Senior, Alex Madson, is returning for his final high school season as the leading scorer last year, he said, “We have very high expectation this year, we are returning all starters from last year and about 99% of scoring. Our coach is in his second year here and has us headed in the right direction for success as we plan to make a deep playoff run this year.” Another impactful player to watch this season is sophomore, Nathan Bunkosky, who had a breakout freshman season and played a vital role on varsity. Last season, the sharks ended the year with a 10-15 record and lost their first-round playoff game to Seabreeze High School, 47-42, ending their season. With all key players returning, the sharks are poised to make a run this year in Coach Whirity’s sophomore season.
