Another perfect week for the sharks has brought them to 18-2, the best record in the school’s short history. Last Friday the sharks took on a tough Westside High School team in a loud and crowded home gym advantage for the sharks. This was the closest game the team has played all season, going into overtime and taking the win by a single point. A clutch behind the back pass from senior Alex Madson led to the basket to win the game. The sharks then faced off Pedro Menendez High School in another home matchup.

The Sharks blew the Falcons out of the tank, but the star of the show was Jack Kerner (better known as Jibbs on campus). Jack is the manager of the basketball team and has a deep passion for sports. He was put in the game and made a free throw and looked very happy to be on the court with his team. The sharks have three regular season games left ending with Nease at home for the rubber match of the battle of the bridge.
