On Feb. 5 and Feb. 6, the Sharks boys wrestling team traveled to Clay High School for their last set of matches before the postseason gets underway. Senior, Rett Maritato, came in 1st place for the 170-pound weight group. Junior, Luke Calamari, also had a solid weekend, coming in 6th place in the 195-pound weight group. After wrestling at Clay, the team faces a two-week hiatus before going to their district tournament on Feb. 20 at Stanton College Preparatory School. It will take place at Westside High School. As for the girls side, the only event they have left is their state championships. They will take place on Feb. 12 and Feb. 13 at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando. They have not wrestled since Jan. 23 in preparation for the State Championships.
