Boys varsity lacrosse team won their game Friday, Feb. 23 against the Alatoona Bucs in a district game. The Sharks struggled during the first quarter with both teams taking many shots but none landed in the goal. In the second quarter, senior, Matt Greco finally scored one for the Sharks. Shortly after, the Bucs scored making the score 1-1. Finally, the Sharks were up 4-2 but the Bucs were catching up. In the fourth quarter, the boys were tied up 4-4 until sophomore, JP Dolan put it away for the Sharks. The Sharks won 6-4. This brings in their fourth win for the season. “It was a close game but we ended battling through it and coming out with a win,” said sophomore, Carson Gunnell. LSM. Their next game is on Feb.26 against Atlantic Coast High School.
