PVHS Mens Lacrosse Breaks Perfect Record

The Ponte Vedra High School boys lacrosse team took on the Bartram Trail High School Bears. This contest between the Bears and the Sharks was never close. The Sharks demolished the Bears by a score of 17-1. Both the offense and the defense of the Sharks played well, as well as senior goalie, Jackson Hume.

Jupiter High School Warriors was the next matchup for Ponte Vedra High School. It was a very well-played first half for both of the teams, as the score at half was 4-3 in favor of the Warriors. Hume had a huge second half as he held the Warriors to 2 goals. The offense of the Sharks took advantage of the Warriors little scoring in the second half and scored 5 goals of their own. 8-6 was the final score, favoring PVHS.

Senior UTL, Edward Houston spoke on the Sharks success, “We are playing very well, our team chemistry helps us succeed on the field as we play together.”

PVHS took on Bishop Moore High School Hornets. Both teams were undefeated going into this matchup, so one’s perfect record was going to have to be ended. It was a great game, both teams were battling hard and playing very physical. At the end of the game the Hornets got the upper hand, out battling the Sharks. It was PVHS’s perfect record that got snapped in this game. Their record is now 8-1, which is still very impressive.
