The Ponte Vedra High School Sharks boys lacrosse team took on the Hayes High School Pacers. The Pacers traveled all the way from Delaware on take on the Sharks. Senior goalie, Jackson Hume, had a huge first half holding the Pacers to zero goals. The Sharks offense capitalized off of Hume’s excellent playing, scoring six goals in the first half. The third quarter was more of the same, excellent goalie play from Hume and the offense was on fire. The Pacers finally got on the board in the fourth quarter, as they scored four goals. The Sharks took down the Pacers 13-4.
“We have become a lot closer throughout the season, which will help us perform at our best in the playoffs.”

The Pensacola Catholic High School Crusaders were the next victim for PVHS. Hume stayed on fire holding the Crusaders to 1 goal in the first half, and the Sharks passed the ball exceptionally well scoring five goals of their own. The offense continued to roll as the scored 11 goals in the second half, and the Crusaders failed to keep up only scoring two goals. The Crusaders fell to the Sharks 16-3.
The regular season finale for PVHS was against the Oak Hall High School Eagles. The Sharks continued to keep it rolling, using their momentum from their previous two victories. The offense for the Sharks regressed a little but still played well enough to win. Hume continued to stop shots, and held the Eagles to four goals all game. The Sharks took down the Eagles 11-4. The Ponte Vedra High School Sharks boys lacrosse team finished the season with a record of 13-3. They look to continue their hot playing in the playoffs.
