On Oct. 10, the Ponte Vedra High School (PVHS) Ocean of Sound travelled to Fleming Island High School (FIHS) to compete in the FFCC Outdoor FIHS regional. This competition was initially set up to have preliminary and finals performances, however, due to the weather later in the day, finals had to be cancelled. The Ocean of Sound earned a score of 75.500, winning first in their division and third overall. Additionally, with a percussion score of 7.65, the Ocean of Sound placed first overall in percussion. The Ocean of Sound will travel to Bartram Trail High School for their marching Music Performance Assessment.
