In the midst of the first pandemic since the twentieth century, the COVID-19 vaccine has significantly taken a positive effect on the Florida population. Starting off with the health care workers to the point where people of sixteen and above can receive the vaccine. However, unlike men and women above the age of 18, high school students of the ages 16-18 must fill out COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form and be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to receive the Pfizer vaccine. All other forms of the vaccine are only allowed to people above the age of 18. In addition to this, people 16+ must set an appointment with the locations administering the vaccine to receive it. The COVID-19 vaccine and consent form along with a locator for COVID-19 vaccine sites can be found here.
