Quarantine plagues boy’s soccer team

By Connor Franco

The Ponte Vedra Sharks boy’s soccer team has had a rocky start to the season. Throughout the first games, many players have been quarantined due to Covid-19. The Sharks continuous quarantines have led to a shaky 5-2 start. Staying strong, Captain Jack Impey is leading the team with five goals and Captain Sean Leapley is demolishing every attack that comes at him. However, right before winter break five new players have been quarantined, leaving them with 16 players for their final game of 2020. In the near future, the Sharks’ schedule doesn’t get any easier, having to play Nease, Bartram Trail, Fleming Island, and Bishop Kenny. The Sharks will have to fight in their regular season district games to keep playoff hopes alive.
