Fantasy Football Week 3

By Ben Ritchie

There was another awesome performance from Cooper Kupp again. This man is tearing up the gridiron week after week, Cooper Kupp scored another 30 bomb. Kupp had nine receptions for 96 yards and two touchdowns against a very talented Tampa Bay defense.

Cooper Kupp had an awesome week but so did his Quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford had 343 yards passing and threw for four TDs bringing him to a total of 29.52 points. Stafford is a reliable weekly starter. Its early in the season but he’s averaging 23.7 points a game and doesn’t look like he’s going to slow down anytime soon.

Minnesota second year wide receiver, Justin Jefferson had a pretty solid game he had nine catches for 118 yards and a touchdown. Justin had a season high in fantasy points with 26.8 points. Jefferson is a high volume receiver that’s going to get better as the season goes on.

Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was running with a purpose against the Eagles this past Monday. Zeke had 17 carries for 95 yards and two touchdowns. He also helped through the air by catching three passes for 21 yards. If the Cowboys keep giving Zeke his fair share of touches and more goal line touches you can expect more performances like this past week. Zeke also moved up to position rank eight after having 26.6 points on Monday.

After two mediocre weeks Josh Allen finally kicked into gear. Josh had 37.22 points with 358 passing yards and four passing touchdowns. Josh also used his legs he had four carries for nine yards and a touchdown.

Number 81 for the Chargers is a player many have grown to know this season. Mike Williams is having a fantastic start to the season averaging 25.8 points through three weeks and having 33.2 this past Sunday.

Rookie running back Najee Harris had himself a day with 14 rushing attempts and 40 rushing yards and 14 receptions for 102 yards. Najee helped fantasy owners that play in a PPR league with his 14 receptions and 28.2 but this amount receptions for a running back is not sustainable.

James Robinson bounced back this week against the Arizona cardinals. James had 25.4 points, 88 yards on the ground with a TD. James was also solid in the passing game bringing in six receptions for 46 yards.

Jonathan Taylor had a slow week against the Tennessee Titans. Taylor had 8.2 points this past week but he had a mediocre day rushing for 64 yards. Taylor only had one catch for eight yards and still does not have a touchdown this season.

Deandre Hopkins did not have the big day people expected with his match up against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Deandre had three catches for 21 yards against a struggling and young jags defense. Deandre had 5.1 points.

Another receiver that disappointed this week was Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. Hollywood had three catches for 53 yards but dropped three possible touchdowns bringing him to a total of 8.3 points. Hollywood is still a solid receiver to have on a fantasy team, bad weeks come and go.

The bounce back player of the week is Alvin Kamara, Alvin had seven points last week but 20.8 points this week. Alvin had 24 rushing attempts for 89 yards and three catches for 29 yards and a touchdown.
