Girls Lacrosse Open up the Season

    The Ponte Vedra High School (PVHS) Sharks girls lacrosse team is coming off a 14-5 season in 2022-2023, losing in the 2023 FHSAA Girls Lacrosse State Championship Tournament by a score of 9-8. Two of this year’s top senior players Lily Toole, and Lily Mosser have committed to universities to pursue lacrosse. Lily Mosser is committed to the University of South Florida, and Lily Toole is committed to Anderson University. These two key players along with many others will determine the Sharks success this year.

     Lily Mosser states that “This year we have a lot of motivation for our team,” and, “we are ready to get revenge from last year’s loss.” The Sharks most recently played against the Nease Panthers with a huge win of 19-0. Mosser led the Sharks in goals and overall concluding their monstrous lead on the Panthers.

     The Sharks are traveling to Lake Highland prep for a revenge game on the team they lost to last year in the semifinals. They are hoping to pop out a solid win to prove themselves from last year and are very prepared for this next matchup.
