With a district win on the line, Ponte Vedra High School (PVHS) rose to the challenge to defeat Beachside High School (BHS) on October 16th. The Sharks won all three sets with scores of 25-23, 27-25, and 25-18. This is a huge deal for the team because this is the first time they have beaten the Barracudas since the first game they played in 2022.
Both schools battled it out at every point in the first two sets. Eventually, the Sharks’ offense came out on top being led by sophomores, Khloe Murray and Vivienne Woodbury. Together, they had 21 kills and to top that off Woodbury controlled the service line with two aces. Murray got some help from senior, Haydin Froelich and her 41 assists. In the last set, the Sharks came through for the win.
