Looking for a new way to show your PVHS pride? The Shark Shack is the place to go. Located within the Marketing Academy, Shark Shack is Ponte Vedra High School’s school merchandise store, offering students and staff a variety of PVHS-themed products and gear.

One of Shark Shack’s most convenient features is the vending machine located in the 500s hallway. The vending machine is organized and run through Shark Shack, giving students an easy way to purchase school merchandise and snacks while they are at school. It brings the school store outside of its usual space and makes PVHS gear more accessible throughout the day.

What makes Shark Shack especially unique is the work students put into creating the merchandise themselves. The process starts with opening Canva and developing designs for products that represent Ponte Vedra High School. Students experiment with different fonts, colors, graphics, and layouts to create designs that are both appealing and representative of school spirit. Some designs feature simple PVHS logos or lettering, while others are created for specific events, such as football game themes like Pink Out or Beat Nease. Once a design is finished, it must be reviewed and approved by Mrs. Lankford, who oversees Shark Shack operations at the school. After approval, the products are ordered and priced before being made available for purchase in the school store. From the initial design to the final sale, students get to see how an idea becomes an actual product. This process gives students firsthand experience with product design, branding, pricing, and sales while allowing them to create merchandise their fellow classmates can wear and enjoy.

Shark Shack is a great example of how the Marketing Academy gives students opportunities to gain real-world experience while contributing to the school community. By combining creativity, marketing, and school spirit, Shark Shack gives students the chance to create products that their fellow Sharks can actually use and enjoy. Whether you are looking for PVHS gear or just want to support student-created designs, Shark Shack makes it easy to show your Shark pride.
